Our Story
Our business started from a love for the outdoors and for home. We value giving back to nature and minimizing our impact. The place where those come together is not just your yard. It is your own slice of nature - your connection to the outdoors.

Conserving water is an important considerations in all of our projects. Supporting pollinators and wildlife, building healthy soil, creating permeable pathways, adding color to your yard, and growing food are other fun considerations. Ask us about the benefits of drip irrigation.
Or let's talk xeriscapes!

Conservation landscapes can take many forms.
They can look wild, taking inspiration directly from our local forests and prairies. Or they can appear more planned, including distinct shapes and swaths. Gardens can produce wonderfully colorful bouquets of cut flowers. And they can include edible fruits, vegetables, and herbs. If you are considering landscaping your yard, let's design something you'll enjoy for years to come.

We Are
SpokaneScape Certified
At 2nd Nature, we wholeheartedly believe in reducing water use by modifying the way we irrigate our landscapes and using drought-tolerant plants in our projects. That is why we partner with the City of Spokane's amazing SpokaneScape program.
SpokaneScape incentivizes homeowners to convert conventional landscapes into low-water landscapes that have a number of other benefits like increased pollinator habitat and healthier soil. A variety of rebates are available through this program. We can help by designing and converting your lawn into a perennial garden rich in pollinators, flowers, and so much more.
